The trek leads trekkers to Tilicho lake along with the fascinating Manang. One of the highly demanded and recommended trekking routes in the world. The must-visit destination is ornamented with one of the largest lakes at an elevation of 4919 m.

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Drive to Dharapani (1860 m.) via Beshisahar (760m.) 6-7 Hrs.

The trek starts from Pokhara or Kathmandu with a four-hour ride on a bus to Beshisahar through the scenic riverside. Another two and half hour drive to Dharapani. Overnight at a lodge.

Day 2 : Dharapani to Timang (2500 m) 4 Hrs.

Gradual uphill trek from Dharapani to Timang through beautiful pine forest and gorges across hills.

Day 3 : Timang to Chame (2710 m.) 3-4 Hrs.

This trek moves gradually for around 10-12 k.m. from Timang to Chame. Overnight at Chame.

Day 4 : Chame to Upper Pisang (3310 m.)

Around 15 k.m. in length, and 600 m. in elevation, this gradual trek moves from Chame to Upper Pisang through different valleys. One might feel mild altitude sickness symptoms.

Day 5 : Upper Pisang to Nagwal (3660 m.) 4 Hrs.

This route probably has one of the best views on treks around the world. The view of the Annapurna range and Manang valley through the horizon is absolutely breathtaking. We reach the beautiful village of Nagwal.

Day 6 : Nagwal to Manang (3540 m.)

We trek down from Nagwal to Manang valley, where the trail gets gradual on a flat riverbank. On the way, we visit the old village of Bhraka. Overnight stay at Manang.

Day 7 : Rest/Acclimatization day

Rest and acclimatization day. Visit Gangapurna lake and the clinic; get information about altitude sickness. If you have any problems get some medicine.

Day 8 : Manang to Siru Kharka (3900 m.) Via Khangsar (3734 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Gradual ascending from Manang to Siru Kharka via Khangsar Village. We reach Siru Kharka for an overnight stay.

Day 9 : Siru Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4150 m.)

Another day of short trek to Tilicho Base Camp from Siru Kharka, we take this trek slowly with the views of the surroundings. It usually is windy in the afternoon on the way to Tilicho lake, so we stay in the Base Camp overnight.

Day 10 : Explore Tilicho lake, back to Siru Kharka (3900 m.)

Early morning visit to Tilicho Lake for sunrise, after an hour or so of exploration, we come down to Siru Kharka.

Day 11 : Siru Kharka to Yak Kharka (4045 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Trek from Siru Kharka to Yak Kharka. We go on to join the trail to Thoroung La Pass.

Day 12 : Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi (4538 m.) 2-3 Hrs.

Trek brings us to the base of Thorung La Pass. We also conduct a go-high sleep-low program to acclimatize for the next day’s climb. Overnight at Thorung Phedi.

Day 13 : Thorung Phedi to Muktinath (3800 m.) Via Throng La Pass (5416 m.) 8-9 Hrs.

Early morning trek to Muktinath via Throng La pass (5416 m). Ascending and descending the hike, we reach the holy place called Muktinath.

Day 14 : Muktinath to Jomsom (2743 m.) 5 Hrs.

Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom or we can drive from Muktinath to Jomsom. The area after Muktinath is the most popular windy valley behind the Annapurna Himalayan Range.

Day 15 : Explore Jomsom, fly to Pokhara

Another day, we catch a flight back to Pokhara from Jomsom.
