What to Expect

This trek is the world’s highest mountain, Everest (8848 m.), or Sagarmatha (the Nepali name for Everest) Lhotse (8516 m.), Cho-Oyu (8188 m.), Ama Dablam (8201 m.) and Pumori (7161 m). The region contains numerous routes.

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION

On your way to trek, there are Guest Houses and Lodges that provide good accommodation and an appreciable choice of food and beverage. The route offers verities of scenic spots and astounding settings of local communities. Which, we believe would be the best entertaining segment of the trek.

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrive in Nepal

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet you. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel.
Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Kathmandu’s most charming places, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Overnight in Kathmandu. Walking: light.

Day 2 : Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding

Fly to Lukla, an airstrip to the south of the region better known as the ‘Gateway to Everest’. Trek for about two and a half hours to Phakding. This is a beautiful mountain village surrounded by tall hills in the Dudh Koshi River Valley which lies north of Lukla. The village is a relaxing stop for the first night of your trek. There are plenty of guesthouses and lodges with private bathrooms and hot showers.

Day 3 : Phakding to Namche (3440 m.) 5 Hrs

Beyond Monjo/Phakding is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park at the Jorsale checkpoint. Permits are checked here. The trail that followed the Dudh Koshi River starts going uphill from the suspension bridge just a few minutes from Jorsale. After a 3 hour’s hike, Namche Bazaar is reached.

Day 4 :Rest and Acclimatization

Acclimatization or rest day at Namche. Namache is a beautiful village with interesting shops and sellers, fabulous food, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You could be rewarded with spectacular Himalayan sunrise and views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse – the fourth highest peak in the world, and the beautiful Ama Dablam if you hike above the town early in the morning.

Day 5 : Namche to Tengboche (3860 m.) 6 Hrs.

Leaving Namche Bazaar, the trail follows the valley of Imja Khola with spectacular views of Thamserku, Kangtega, and Ama Dablam mountains, and dominating the skyline ahead are the giants, Lhotse and Everest. The most common night halt after Namche is at the top of a steep climb from the Imja Khola at Tengboche.

Day 6 : Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 m.) 5 Hrs.

Following the Imja Khola from Tengboche, the trail ascends through Pangboche until Pheriche or Dingboche is reached, where the day’s trek ends.

Day 7 : Rest and Acclimatization

Acclimatization or rest day at Dingboche. Dingboche is a beautiful village with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You could be rewarded with spectacular Himalayan sunrise and views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse – the fourth highest peak in the world, and the beautiful Ama Dablam if you hike above the town early in the morning. You can get medicines if you have any problems.

Day 8 : Dingboche to Lobhuje (4910 m.) 51/2 Hrs.

From Dingboche walk leads to Lobuche which sits on the lateral moraine of the Khumbu glacier.

Day 9 : Lobhuje to Gorak Shep (5182 m.) 3 Hrs.

With an early morning start, we trek ascend Kala Pattar (5623 m.) and enjoy famous views of the Himalayas, without having to climb Everest! That evening we camp beneath Kala Patthar at Gorak Shep (5182 m).

Day 10 : Gorak Shep to Kalapathhar and explore Base Camp, return to Pheriche (4350 m.)

With an early morning start, we trek ascend Kala Pattar (5600 m.) and enjoy famous views of the Himalayas, without having to climb Everest! That evening we camp beneath Kala Patthar at Gorak Shep (5182 m.). Trek to Pheriche.

Day 11 : Pheriche to Namche Bazaar 7 Hrs.

Trek down to Namche Bazaar.

Day 12 : Namche Bazaar to Lukla 7.5 Hrs.

Trek to Lukla along the gorge of the Dudh Kosi to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla to catch your return flight to Kathmandu. Enjoy the evening at the Lukla bazaar.

Day 13 : Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Take a plane to Kathmandu today. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 14 : Leisure Day at Kathmandu

Refresh and Relax in Kathmandu! Do you shopping or visit the night bars and pubs, or whatever you want to do for the day. If you’re really tired, then take this as a rest day.

Day 15 : Departure from Nepal

Final departure for your onward destination. Our team will take you to the TIA (Tribhuwan International Airport) for your flight.
