Drive from Phidim to Suketar and preparing for the trek.

Heading off from Suketar, we are able to see the first glimpse of the Kanchenjunga range. Trek starts descending along Tamor Khola Valley below a place famous for bee farming. We approach Chirwa along with the pleasant view of waterfalls.

The main track remains on the rivers south bank before reaching the National Park check post at Taple Chowk (1380 m.). Taking west bank on the left, winding through Cardamom fields into the dense bush to Lelep.

Passing dense bush to the valley narrowing to a deep George with waterfalls cascading down both sides of the valley and about an hour of dense bush we come to a bridge. 1-hour gaining altitude we reach Amjilosa.

Climbing for about 30 min with dense forests we descend towards Ghunsa Khola at Thyanyani (2405 m.). Climbing for 2 hours we reach the famous camping spot Gyabla.

Crossing broad valley bottom with views of river and hillsides for the first one an half hours the track climbs for 200 m. (1 hrs.). The Tibetan refuge village of Phale has a colorful Monastery to visit. We pass through the beautiful Larch forest before reaching Ghusna (3415 m.).

Rest day, you can either trek up to Yamtari Khola or visit the local Sherpa school.

45 min steep climb and traverse on a narrow-exposed track bring you finally to Khangpachen (4145 m.).

Rest day, we can either explore the valley directly behind Khangpachen or cross the river and climb the left side of the Khangpachen Glacier.

Climbing a moraine for 1 hour, a landslide, and across large boulders for 2hr 30 min. we reach Ramtang. The trail from Ramtang heads upwards to the far side of Moraine and Lhonark Khola to a seasonal bridge and a few stone shelters at Lhonak.

Take Rest or walking up to Lhonak Glacier.

Starting trek early to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (5140 m.) to see the sunrise. After spending some time admiring the beauty and sense of peace and accomplishment before returning to Lhonak.

We start heading back to Ramtang, Khangpachen, and ending the day in Ghunsa. Most of the way is downhill.

A 5-hour walking through the Rhododendron forest, hydropower station we reach Selele La base.

8 to 9 hours descending from Selele La Pass viewing Mt. Jannu, Makalu, and Kumbhakarna Mountain towards Cheram (3869 m.).

4 hours climbing towards Ramchaur where the trail is close to Nepal-Sikkim (India) border and beside the glacier until reaching Ramche.

A 2-hour trek to Oktang and back to see amazing landscape, glaciers, and mountains.

Descending for 5 hours next to a glacier followed by Tambu River.

6 to 7 hours trekking through lovely forest with songs of different species of birds.

Descending through jungles and several Limbu villages.

3 hours descending through green bushy tracks towards the base of the hill.

2 hours driving to Bhadrapur and catching a flight to Kathmandu.
