Acclimatization day in Namche. Get acclimatization to the thin air and reduced levels of oxygen at this altitude before we continue upwards towards the Everest Base Camp. After crossing an iron bridge the trail levels out and we pass the first lake, known as Longpongo (4690 m), and then come upon Taboche Tsho lake, which emits a bright turquoise reflection sparkling in the sun.

A small distance ahead we reach the third lake, Dudh Pokhari, which is connected with Taboche Tsho by a surging stream.
