Jomsom Muktinath Trek is a classic trek. It takes trekkers through attractive regions in Annapurna like Poon Hill, Kagbeni, Muktinath, Kaligandaki gorge, and Jomsom. This is the best trek route in Nepal for its amazing sunrise view from Poonhill, the natural hot-spring along the Kaligandaki, Rupse Chahara(waterfall), and life of Marpha decorated with its unusual apple garden.

Itinerary

Day 1Drive/ Trek from Pokhara to Nayapool and Hile

After breakfast drive from Pokhara to Nayapool one and half hour drive and trek to Hile Four hours.

Day 2Hile to Ghorepani (2834 m.) 5 Hrs.

Trek to Ghorepani. Stay overnight at Lodge/ Hotel.

Day 3Trek Ghorepani to Tatopani (1200 m.) 7 Hrs.

Trek to Tatopani. Stay overnight at Lodge/ Hotel.

Day 4Drive from Marpha (2670 m.) 4 Hrs.

After breakfast drive to Marpha on a sharing basis. Excursion around visit apple garden. Stay overnight at Lodge/ Hotel.

Day 5Trek to Kagbeni (2810 m.) 5 Hrs.

Trek to Kagbeni, a green oasis at the junction of the Jhong Khola and the Kali Gandaki River. Visit the Kagbeni monastery and the old part of the village.

Day 6Trek to Muktinath (3710 m.) 5 Hrs.

Trek to Muktinath via Jhol village. Visit Muktinath temple.

Day 7Trek to Jomsom (2713 m.) 6 Hrs. or Drive 2 Hrs.

Trek to Jomsom or take a bus ride to Jomsom. Stay overnight at Jomsom.

Day 8Fly or Drive back to Pokhara

Take an early flight to Pokhara or, a long journey by bus to Pokhara (approximately 9 hours). End of your trek.
