Trekking Details

This trek offers a face to face with high mountains and glaciers inside a brief time-frame and additionally provides a chance to examine pristine Gosainkunda lake. Our trek passes through culturally made Buddhist villages largely occupied by the Tamangs and the Sherpas also can have a chance to examine some lovely, old gompas and Yak herds. In the summer annually the valley floors of Langtang provide a true spectacle of blooming primrose, poppy, and iris and is an ideal place to see alpine flowers.

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Drive from Pokhara/ Kathmandu to Syaphru Besi (1462 Meters) 8/ 6 Hours.

Bus ride from Pokhara or Kathmandu to Shyphru Besi traveling on paved roads via Dhunche.

Day 2 : Trek from Syaphru Basi to Lama Hotel (2748 Meters) 5 Hours.

Trek to Lama Hotel through the thick forest of oak, pine, and bamboo trees.

Day 3 : Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3500 Meters) 4 Hours.

Trek to Langtang Village through the beautiful scenery of mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. As we reach the green meadows of Ghora Tabela, the magnificent view of snowy white peaks of the Langtang range becomes clearly visible. Once in the Langtang Village we will explore the village charm – the water-driven mills (Ghata), flat-roofed, prayer wheels, and the local yak cheese factory.

Day 4 : Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin Gompa (3800 Meters) 5 Hours

Trek to Kyangjin Gompa gradually ascending the views of Chyarkuri and Kyanjin Ri peaks.

Day 5 : Explore around Kyangjin Gompa

Tserko Ri (5033 m.) is a steep climb for 90 minutes from Kyangjin Gompa. However, the spectacular 360-degree mountain views available of the surrounding peaks and up and down the Langtang valley offer plentiful reward. This is the pinnacle of the Langtang trek and energy permitting the ascent of Tserko Ri should defiantly be undertaken so that you can take in Langtang’s snow-capped mountain range in all its glory.

Day 6 : Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2748 Meters) 6 Hours.

Trek to Lama Hotel where u can have a good sleep.

Day 7 : Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Shyphru (2260 Meters) 5 Hours.

Following down Langtang river and ascending up to the most beautiful village Thulo Syaphru.

Day 8 : Trek from Thulo Shyphru to Sing Gompa (3250 Meters) 5 Hours.

Steep climbing through pine forests we reach Sing Gompa—where we visit a cheese factory.

Day 9 : Trek from Sign Gompa to Gosainkund (4460 Meters) Via Lauribinayak Pass (3920 Meters) 6 Hours.

Steep climbing through Lauribinayak pass to Gosainkunda. Great view of overlooking western Himalayan region, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu Himal, Annapurna Himalaya Range, etc.

Day 10 : Trek from Gosainkunda to Sign Gompa (3250 Meters) 6 Hours.
Day 11 : Trek from Sign Gompa to Dhunche (2030 Meters) 6 Hours
Day 12 : Drive from Dhunche to Pokhara/ Kathmandu or your own destination. 6/7 Hours.
