What to Expect

Bardiya National Park is one of the most pristine conservation areas in the Tarai and is home to the endangered Royal Bengal tiger and Nepal’s famous One-horned rhinoceros besides many other mammals and reptiles. The park located in the far western district of Bardiya is bordered by the Karnali River in the west, the Churia range in the north, and the Babai River flows right through.

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrive in Nepalgunj, transport to hotel

On your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Ambasa stand our representative will receive you. You will then be transferred to Resort/ Lodge where you will be offered refreshment and be given a briefing on activities and its facilities. After being given your programs for the day your room will then be allocated to you.

Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus and visit Elephant breeding central. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 2 : Jungle safari on elephant's back

The wake-up call is followed by tea or coffee. Jeep safari/ Jungle walk for an hour. During the trip an excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience to see the wildlife of the Park. Jeep safari/ Jungle walking. Dinner & overnight.

Day 3 : Enchanting Bardiya!

The wake-up call is followed by tea or coffee. Drive to Rafting Point. Rafting started. It is wild sightseeing Rafting, this program has been introduced to show you the wildlife from the different parts of the park, will be stopped in more than 3/4 places and will be taken inside the jungle for the wildlife. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and Dolphin seen Pack lunch will be provided. Rafting is depending on the water level so sometimes it is not worth so change the program, Dinner & Overnight.

Day 4 : Bird watching & Departure

The wake-up call is followed by tea or coffee. Bird-watching tour. Departure for onward Journey.
