Koshi Tappu Wildlife reserve is yet another destination in Nepal for Jungle activities which occupies an area of 175 sq. km. Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve was established in 1976 and is the inhabitants of endangered species of animals such wild buffalo also known as “Arna”, Gharial crocodile, gigantic dolphins. There are 280 species of birds including 20 species of duck, 2 species ibises, many egrets, herons and storks. The fabulous time for Koshi Tappu Jungle Safari is between October and March where you can able to many migratory bird species along with local birds. What to Expect
This package is designed specifically for bird lovers who want to explore as much as of the over 400 species of birds in the reserve. The whole extra day is dedicated to Bird-watching. The main attractions include Wild Water Buffaloes, Blue Bulls, Gangetic Dolphins, and Golden Jackals along with over 400 species of birds as we explore the marshes on foot, inaccessible sandbanks and islands of the mighty Koshi River.

Tour Plan
We’ll meet at Biratnagar Airport Then we’ll drive to Koshi Tappu, after lunch birds watching around Saptakoshi River bank.
Early morning Wake up and nature walk in the vicinity. Raft boat on the upper part of Sapta Koshi River with naturalist to view some of the water birds, water buffaloes, dolphins and various water habitats. End boat trip by the bank of river and have picnic lunch. Short drive to the Koshi Barrage to view some bird life and fresh water dolphins. Late afternoon return to the camp.
