Makar Sankranti festival is a Hindu festival is celebrated 14th or 15th of January every year. In this festival, we observe the transition of the Sun into Capricorn in this festival we worship the Sun God and observe holy baths in rivers. It is believed that taking a holy dip in the river on Makar Sankranti washed all our sins.
