This trek offers a face to face with high mountains and glaciers inside a brief time-frame and additionally provides a chance to examine pristine Gosainkunda lake. Bus ride from Pokhara or Kathmandu to Shyphru Besi traveling on paved roads via Dhunche.
Trek to Lama Hotel through the thick forest of oak, pine, and bamboo trees.
Trek to Langtang Village through the beautiful scenery of mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. As we reach the green meadows of Ghora Tabela, the magnificent view of snowy white peaks of the Langtang range becomes clearly visible. Once in the Langtang Village we will explore the village charm – the water-driven mills (Ghata), flat-roofed, prayer wheels, and the local yak cheese factory.
Trek to Kyangjin Gompa gradually ascending the views of Chyarkuri and Kyanjin Ri peaks.
Tserko Ri (5033 m.) is a steep climb for 90 minutes from Kyangjin Gompa. However, the spectacular 360-degree mountain views available of the surrounding peaks and up and down the Langtang valley offer plentiful reward. This is the pinnacle of the Langtang trek and energy permitting the ascent of Tserko Ri should defiantly be undertaken so that you can take in Langtang’s snow-capped mountain range in all its glory.
